Zusammenfassung

City of Atlanta seeks a Watershed Plan Reviewer I to review construction plans for code compliance and assist with plan review services and field support in the Department of Watershed Management.

Under supervision, you will follow instructions, coordinate with internal divisions and external agencies, and provide cost estimates while performing site visits and supporting pre-construction meetings with contractors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related area.
• Two (2) years of Construction or Project Management related experience.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations.

Aufgaben

• Review engineer drawings, studies and reports; comment on revisions for approval.
• Coordinate document management with the team and update the database; route plans through the process in Accela.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, City and AWWA Codes for engineering design requirements.
• Explain departmental procedures to customers to facilitate permits and payments; direct customers to the right services.
• Coordinate with other Engineering Divisions, Watershed Offices, City Departments, and external agencies.
• Create an accurate cost estimate for projects.
• Perform site visits and assist with pre-construction meetings with contractors and engineers.
