Job summary

Intermountain Health’s St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, work with radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient care.

The role includes a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and potential relocation assistance. The ideal candidate has ARRT MRI certification (or ARMRIT), BLS, and 30-day IV competency; 1–2 years of MRI experience and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) MR certification or ARMRIT
• or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI
• BLS for healthcare providers required
• IV competency within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ modality competency in all clinical functions.
• Prepares patient for exam and verifies identity.
• Performs MRI exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits without compromising care or quality.
• Instructs students and other MRI techs in protocols and positioning.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Practices infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, and reporting equipment failures.
