Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a graveyard 7 on/7 off schedule at St George Regional Hospital. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to deliver high-quality imaging.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials, BLS, and MRI cross-training, with 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred. Relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required or ARMRIT equivalent.
• Cross-training MRI certification acceptable.
• BLS certification required; IV competency within 30 days.
• Ability to follow department protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams with attention to quality and safety.
• Verify patient identity, prepare for and position the exam.
• Review images for quality and notify radiologist of concerns.
• Maintain MRI safety and infection control standards.
• Educate and reassure patients; collaborate with team to support care.
• Document procedures, equipment issues, and adverse reactions.
