Job summary

STRS Ohio is seeking a Graphic Production Specialist to join the Executive/ Communications and Public Affairs team in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on graphic production, digital printing, finishing, and distribution, with basic design updates to publications, using brand standards.

The position requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in InDesign and Acrobat Pro, and comfort with both Mac and Windows platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of Communications and Public Affairs department workflow processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate black-and-white and color digital presses and related finishing equipment.
• Coordinate in-house and outsourced printing projects and mailing.
• Prepare files for final production review and approvals.
• Update the Communications Job Tracking System (JTS) and project logs.
• Maintain inventory of paper stock, toners, and supplies for digital copiers.
• Prepare in-house mailings, labels, and envelopes, meeting deadlines.
