Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Two years of professional experience directly related to the discipline
• Equivalency option available

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with approved course outlines and student learning outcomes
• Prepare and deliver effective, student-centered instruction using evidence-based teaching practices
• Develop and maintain course syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments
• Evaluate student performance in a timely and equitable manner and maintain accurate academic records
• Submit grades and other required reports by established deadlines
• Create an inclusive, respectful learning environment for diverse students
• Maintain regular communication with students and respond promptly to inquiries
• Utilize the District's learning management system and other instructional technologies
• Comply with District policies and regulations
• Participate in department meetings and professional development
