Peralta Community College District seeks qualified Part-Time Faculty to provide high-quality instruction and student support in line with the District’s mission of advancing equity, student success, and academic excellence. Minimum qualifications follow Title 5 and CCC Chancellor’s Office standards.
Applicants must submit transcripts and a detailed record of relevant professional work experience.
Equivalency considered through a separate review process.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned courses in accordance with approved outlines and student learning outcomes.
Prepare and deliver effective, student-centered instruction using evidence-based teaching practices.
Develop and maintain course syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance in a timely and equitable manner and maintain accurate academic records.
Submit grades and other required reports by established deadlines.
Create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
Maintain regular communication with students and respond promptly to inquiries.
Utilize the District’s LMS and instructional technologies as appropriate.
Comply with District policies, collective bargaining agreements, and accreditation standards.
