Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and two years of related professional experience.
• Or an Associate degree with six years of related professional experience.
• Or equivalent as determined by District procedures.
• Ability to teach diverse student populations and promote equity.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in accordance with approved outlines and learning outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate student performance timely and equitably and maintain records.
• Submit grades and reports by deadlines.
• Create an inclusive, respectful learning environment for diverse students.
• Maintain regular communication with students and respond to inquiries.
• Utilize the LMS and other instructional technologies as appropriate.
• Comply with District policies, bargaining agreements, accreditation standards, and regulations.
• Participate in department meetings, professional development, and college activities.
