Job summary

You will partner with program managers to develop grant budgets, bill agencies monthly, monitor spend-down, and prepare required reports for federal and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5-7 years of related work experience preferred.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications and ability to produce complex documents and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates a collegial, team-oriented environment with high integrity.
• Develops grant budgets with program managers and bills funding agencies monthly.
• Oversees grant spending, ensures spend-down, validates matching payroll and other expenses, and ensures reporting.
• Reviews journal entries for grants and reconciles grant receivable and temporary restricted net assets monthly.
• Ensures compliance for all grants with regulatory requirements.
• Compiles information for UDS, FFR, and other federal reports and ensures timely filing.
• Reviews data for UFR and Single Audit under Uniform Guidance.
• Works with HR, program managers, and Finance to ensure time and effort reports are submitted timely and expenses allocated properly.
• Reviews P&L for grant cost centers monthly and initiates reclassifications as needed.
• Provides grant budget and forecast information for operations and clinical budgets in annual and quarterly cycles.
