Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5–7 years of related work experience.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with federal grant regulations (OMB Uniform Guidance) and grant reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full financial lifecycle of awarded funds from award setup to closeout.
  • Develop grant budgets during the application process and bill funding agencies monthly based on actual expenditures.
  • Monitor grant spend-down, validate payroll and expenses, and ensure accurate reporting to funders.
  • Review journal entries and reconcile grant receivable and restricted net assets monthly; ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Coordinate compilation of information for UDS, FFR, and other grant reporting; support UFR and Single Audit processes.
  • Collaborate with HR, program managers, and Finance to ensure time and effort reports are submitted and expenses allocated correctly.
  • Provide grant budget/forecast information for operations and clinical budgets in annual and quarterly cycles.

This role ensures that all grant activities comply with funder regulations, internal policies, and federal standards, such as OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).Job Description:Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCultivates a collegial and team-oriented working environment, ensuring collaborative relationships, open lines of communication, and an environment of the highest integrity.Works closely with program managers to develop grant budget during application process and timely bill the funding agencies monthly based on the actual expenditure once obtaining the grants.Oversight of grant spending, works with program managers on a monthly basis to ensure accurate and timely spend-down of the grants, validate the matching payroll and other expenses for the grants, and ensure accurate reporting of the grants as requested by the federal and state agencies and other grantors.Review journal entries for grants and contracts and reconcile grant receivable and temporary restricted net assets on a monthly basis.Ensure compliance for all grants in accordance with regulatory requirements.Oversight of the compilation of information for UDS, FFR, and other grant reporting in accordance with federal reporting requirements, ensure timely filing of federal grant reports.Review prepared information for UFR and Single Audit under the federal Uniform Guidance.Works with HR, program managers, and Finance team, to ensure time and effort reports are submitted timely and expenses are allocated to the right grant cost centers.Review P&L for grant cost centers on a monthly basis to ensure revenue matches expenses, initiate and record payroll and non-payroll expense reclasses.Provide grant budget and forecast information for operations and clinical budget in the annual budget process and quarterly forecast.Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience: 5-7 year's related work experienceSkills, Knowledge & Abilities: Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Working knowledge of Workday Financial Accounting Systems is a plus.Pay Range:$100,000.00 USD – $130,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
