Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 5-7 years of related work experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full financial lifecycle of awarded funds from setup to closeout.
  • Develop grant budgets during the application process with program managers.
  • Bill funding agencies monthly based on actual expenditures.
  • Monitor grant spending and spend-down with program managers and ensure proper payroll and expense allocation.
  • Review journal entries and reconcile grant receivables and restricted net assets.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and prepare required grant reports (UDS, FFR, UFR, Single Audit).
  • Coordinate with HR, program managers and Finance for time-and-effort reporting and cost allocations.
  • Prepare grant budget forecasts for operations and clinical budgets in annual and quarterly cycles.
