Job summary

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) Business Office seeks a Grants Program Manager to promote consistent grant administration, compliance, and effective stewardship of grant-funded resources while maintaining appropriate segregation of duties between programmatic, grant-administration, and financial responsibilities.

The position coordinates agency-wide management of Federal, State, and other grant-funded programs and serves as a central resource for operational Grant Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of grant experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state grant requirements.
• Experience guiding grant administration across lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agency-wide grants administration from opportunity to closeout.
• Serve as primary liaison for grant-project managers and leaders.
• Monitor compliance, reporting, and budget utilization.
• Coordinate Federal/State audits and oversight activities.
• Evaluate grant opportunities and prepare applications with JustGrants.
• Interpret financial reports and ensure separation of duties.
• Develop agency-wide grant-management guidance and training.
