The Homeland Security Preparedness Grants Branch Manager oversees daily operations, personnel, and grant portfolio administration within the Maryland Department of Emergency Management's Mission Support Directorate.

This role manages the lifecycle of homeland security and preparedness grants, supervises grant-administration staff, and serves as principal advisor to the Chief Financial Officer on grant compliance, risks, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifikationen

• Direct supervision of grant-administration personnel and establishment of performance standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of grant programs, federal requirements, and administrative lifecycle management.
• Oversight of pre-award, award, post-award, subaward, reporting, and closeout activities.
• Coordination with program owners, project managers, accounting personnel, and federal agencies.
• Maintenance of grant data systems and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to identify compliance concerns and elevate risks to executive leadership.
