Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least five years of professional fiscal experience.
• Five years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Candidates may substitute additional professional fiscal work experience for the required education.
• Two years experience with Maryland State appropriations budget submission process and federal grant budgets.
• Experience with FMIS, ADPICS and R*Stars finance systems; approving procurements at fiscal level in ADPICS; tracking PO/BLs/payments using FMIS screens.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Fiscal Services Administrator and supervisor for budgets, grants and procurements within OP&R.
• Prepare the annual operating budget, appropriations, and quarterly projections.
• Oversee federal grant budget preparation, oversight, and financial report submission.
• Oversee fiscal preparation of all grant agreements and supporting documentation for procurements.
• Monitor expenditures and advise on spending; research and resolve fiscal/procurement issues.
