Job summary

The State of Maryland's Office of Preparedness and Response seeks a Fiscal Services Administrator to manage budgets, grants, and procurements, supervising staff and ensuring accuracy of financial reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing annual operating budget, appropriations, quarterly projections, overseeing federal grant budgets, and monitoring expenditures; strong attention to detail and ability to advise on spending.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of professional fiscal experience with supervisory experience.
• Candidates may substitute additional professional fiscal work experience for the required education.
• Two years experience with Maryland State appropriations budget submissions and federal grant budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgets, grants, procurements and staff in OP&R.
• Prepare annual operating budget, appropriations and quarterly projections.
• Oversee federal grant budget preparation, oversight and financial reporting.
• Oversee fiscal preparation of all grant agreements and related procurement documents.
• Monitor expenditures and advise on spending; respond to fiscal/procurement issues as needed.
