CAMBA, a NYC-based nonprofit, seeks a Grants Manager to oversee a portfolio of public and private funding opportunities, crafting proposals, reports, and funder communications. Reports to the Senior Director, Institutional Giving, in Brooklyn.

The role collaborates with program, fiscal, data analysis, research and leadership teams to produce competitive submissions, manage budgets, and maintain rigorous grant records while building strong funder relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of grant-writing or related fundraising experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear messages.
• Strong research, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with executives and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Availability for occasional evenings and weekend events.

Responsabilidades

• Build compelling proposals and manage a portfolio of funding opportunities from start to finish.
• Identify new government, foundation and other funding prospects.
• Tell CAMBA’s story with data, outcomes and impact.
• Coordinate cross-functional submissions with program, fiscal, evaluation and leadership teams.
• Maintain grant records, deadlines and compliance in CAMBA’s grants management systems.
