Job summary

Easterseals Florida, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Grants & Funding Manager to coordinate the organization’s funding portfolio and connect philanthropy, programs, finance, and leadership to maximize impact.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the role oversees from identifying opportunities to managing awarded funds, ensuring outcomes and stewardship, and aligning resources with organizational priorities to generate community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 5+ years of grants management, institutional giving, grant writing, government contracts, nonprofit program management, or related field.
• Experience with government grants or contracts preferred.
• Attention to detail with ownership and follow-through.
• Strong PM, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial aptitude.
• Excellent writing, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate funding opportunities that support Easterseals Florida's mission and strategic goals.
• Coordinate the development of grant proposals, applications, and funding requests with program and organizational leaders.
• Serve as the central point of coordination for grant-related activities across departments.
• Guide the management of grants and contracts through the funding lifecycle, ensuring compliance and accountability.
• Monitor grant performance, budgets, and spending to identify opportunities, challenges, and risks.
• Analyze programmatic and financial information to support decision-making and improvement.
• Prepare reports and communications that demonstrate impact and stewardship.
• Strengthen funder relationships through proactive communication and transparency.
