Job summary

Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, Inc. is seeking a Grants & Development Systems Coordinator to strengthen fundraising infrastructure for sustainable growth.

This 30-hour-per-week role partners with the Director of Development & Communications to organize grants, donor data, campaigns, and online giving tools, while improving systems for efficiency and accuracy. You’ll contribute writing, project coordination, and tech-savvy problem solving to support animal welfare initiatives and data-driven

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education, training, and experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit development, grant writing, fundraising operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant opportunities, deadlines, applications, reports, renewals, and funder records.
• Research funding opportunities and help draft proposals, reports, project summaries, and funder updates.
• Partner across departments to gather accurate program outcomes, financial information, photos, stories, and other grant materials.
• Maintain reliable donor, campaign, sponsorship, grant, and stewardship data across development systems.
• Support online giving, email, event registration, acknowledgments, reporting, and other fundraising technology and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline processes, document procedures, and reduce duplicative work.
