Job summary

Wenatchee Valley Humane Society seeks a strategic Director of Development & Communications to lead a diversified contributed-revenue program and guide communications that inspire trust and engagement. You will partner with the Executive Director, Board, and community to grow support for animal-welfare initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Five+ years nonprofit fundraising leadership with revenue goals.
• Experience with donor stewardship and major gifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and multi-year fundraising across gifts, grants, partnerships, and events.
• Cultivate and solicit major donors; oversee donor stewardship.
• Own development planning, budgeting, and revenue forecasting.
• Manage donor technology, CRM, online giving, and reporting.
• Guide communications, brand, and digital strategies to support fundraising.
