Job summary

TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) in Washington, DC, is seeking a Jr. Accountant to support the COPS Office’s Management Services Directorate in federal grant management.

The role involves financial reporting, reconciliation, and tracking of obligations and unobligated balances to ensure accurate grants administration. The position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience and a High School Diploma, with Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting and analysis, including tracking commitments, obligations, unobligated balances, and accruals.
• Reconcile planned vs. actual award amounts for each COPS Award Program.
• Assist in deobligation and reobligation of financial instruments and grant awards.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting processes.
• Assist in financial reconciliation activities.
