Job summary

TekPro Support Services, LLC is seeking a Jr. Accountant to support the COPS Office’s Management Services Directorate in managing financial grant activities and reporting.

The role requires at least 3 years of accounting experience and a high school diploma, with a preference for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting and analysis, tracking commitments, obligations, unobligated balances, and accruals.
• Reconcile planned vs actual award amounts for each COPS Award Program.
• Assist in deobligation and reobligation of grant awards when needed.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting activities.
• Assist in financial reconciliation activities.
