Job summary

TekPro Support Services, LLC is seeking a Jr. Accountant to support the COPS Office’s Management Services Directorate in managing financial grant activities and reporting.

The role requires at least 3 years of accounting experience and a high school diploma, with a preference for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment in the Washington, DC area.

We are TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS), a professional solutions contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation.

TSS is seeking a Jr. Accountant to support the COPS Office’s Management Services Directorate in working to support financial grant management.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with financial reporting and analysis support, including financial tracking of commitments, obligations, unobligated balances, and accruals.
• Reconcile planned award amounts and actual award amounts for each COPS Award Program.
• Assist in the deobligation and, when necessary, reobligation of financial instruments, including grant awards.
• Support various monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Assist in financial reconciliation activities.

What You Bring:

Required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• High School Diploma.

Preferred:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
