The role oversees grant management, budgeting, and financial reporting for sponsored projects and coordinates with project teams to ensure compliance and timely deliverables.

Ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in business and experience with contracts/grants, PeopleSoft, Excel, and financial systems.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree and three years admin management experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in contracts and grants administration.
• Proficiency in Excel, Office, Google Workspace; strong accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage sponsored projects by monitoring financial activity, expenditures, budgets, and projections.
• Coordinate award modifications and required approvals (rebudgets, no-cost extensions, PI changes).
• Manage subawards, contracts, and project segments through lifecycle with oversight.
• Support preparation and submission of sponsor financial and progress reports with deadlines.
• Monitor cost-share commitments and ensure proper tracking and reporting.
• Assist with salary Redistributions and related fiscal activities.
