Job summary

NC State University seeks a Fiscal Manager in Raleigh to oversee post-award financial services for sponsored projects. The role requires deep knowledge of federal/state requirements, award setup, invoicing, and audit readiness, with collaboration across colleges and principal investigators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework or equivalent.
• COSO, GAAP, Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) knowledge and experience.
• Experience with post-award financial reporting and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level financial management and regulatory oversight for sponsored awards.
• Interpret complex award guidelines and approve financial transactions under delegated authority.
• Prepare and submit sponsor financial reports and invoices.
• Coordinate training for post-award staff and college/department admins.
