Adams County in Westminster, CO, is seeking an experienced Grant Administrator/Finance professional to manage complex accounting tasks within the Head Start department. You will perform trend analyses, evaluate grant regulations, monitor expenditures, and lead process improvements to ensure compliance with fiscal oversight.

You will develop grant budgets, prepare annual budgets for director review, and coordinate with state reporting and audits.

• Prepare fiscal reports and complex budgets in a clear, professional manner.
• Proficient in English written and spoken communication.
• Interpret and apply laws, codes, and regulations relevant to grants.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain systems to facilitate grant budgeting and tracking.
• Lead annual grant budget preparation for submission to Director and BOCC.
• Prepare Grant Cost Allocation Plans (CAP) and monitor for accuracy.
• Produce monthly fiscal and budget reports for oversight boards.
• Prepare Expenditure Authorizations and related BIS summaries.
• Perform quality checks on vouchers and PC statements prior to approvals.
• Advise grant administrator on Annual State Plan with EA, BIS, and cost projections.
• Monitor program expenditures to ensure alignment with budgets and grant requirements.
• Track monthly budget projections by program and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with external monitors and auditors on accounting matters.
• Support internal control improvements and fiscal procedures.
