Denver Public Schools is seeking a Grant Finance Manager to provide financial oversight and guidance for federal, state, and private grants across multiple programs. You will help with budget development, forecasting spend, and financial reporting to ensure compliance and accountability.

This grant-funded role requires collaboration with Grant Specialists and school leaders, training staff, preparing grant budgets and forecasts, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business required.
• Three or more years of budgeting, accounting, and data analysis.
• Experience in governmental accounting and budgeting environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide financial oversight and guidance for federal, state, and private grants across multiple programs and departments.
• Assist schools and departments with grant budgets and forecasts to ensure spending complies with grant requirements.
• Prepare financial reporting for funders and support audits and site visits as needed.
• Communicate changes to stakeholders and train Grant Specialists, Grant Managers, and leaders.
• Document processes and facilitate regular meetings with grant staff and school leaders.
• Demonstrate commitment to equity and collaborate across DPS.
• Lead for financial stewardship and ensure integrity in reporting.
