Job summary

Brookline Community Foundation is seeking a Manager of Grants & Community Partnerships to build relationships across Brookline, support grantmaking, and foster community engagement and capacity-building work. This hands-on role manages projects, coordinates conversations and events, works with grant applicants and grantees, and helps develop BCF's Community Advisory Council.

The successful candidate will be organized and collaborative, with 2–3 years of relevant experience, a strong commitment

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in community work, grants, or nonprofit settings.
• Strong commitment to racial, economic, and social equity and to engaging historically underrepresented communities.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and events from concept through execution.
• Proficiency with grants processes and data management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate community engagement initiatives (listening sessions, focus groups, informational sessions).
• Serve as main point of contact for grant applicants and grantees; provide technical assistance and project support.
• Coordinate grant review, reporting, and information management; track timelines and outcomes.
• Prepare materials for Program & Grants Committee meetings and document follow-up actions.
• Support development of reports and communications highlighting community impact.
