Volunteers of America Northern Rockies seeks a Staff Accountant to perform assigned accounting and analytic responsibilities within the Finance Department. The role covers general accounting, grant accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting in support of the Controller and finance team.

Responsibilities include ledger accuracy, dashboards, grant allocations, and audit readiness. Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with Sage Intacct, Paycom, Ramp, and QuickBooks are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, or equivalent combination.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Aufgaben

• Conducts reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts including cash, loans, prepaid accounts, and fixed assets.
• Manages credit card platform administration and ensures proper usage.
• Maintains financial dashboards in Sage Intacct for department leads.
• Performs grant accounting, budgeting, and audit support as needed.
• Ensures accurate general ledger allocations and budget alignment with grant requirements.
• Prepares labor distribution reports to support grant spending.
• Supports audits and maintains documentation for audit readiness.
