UpStart Lab is seeking a Grants & Advancement Operations Manager to enhance our development function. This role involves grant oversight, strategy coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring the successful execution of our social impact initiatives. POSITION SUMMARY
UpStart seeks a Grants & Advancement Operations Manager to play a key role in the development function of UpStart, including grant oversight, development operations, and coordinating strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. This role will report to the Senior Director, Major Gifts & Board Relations and work cross-functionally with other internal departments. This role is expected to travel approximately 2-3 times a year for team retreats, donor events, and funder meetings as needed.

Biennial labor market benchmarking is conducted by an independent third-party partner retained to review available data and analyze the rates of pay being offered by organizations similar to UpStart located in the Bay Area, CA. Aligned with this practice, and in support of upholding internal equity, we don’t negotiate salaries. The starting annual salary for this role is $70,000.
