Job summary

MaineHealth's Research Grants Office in Scarborough, ME seeks a Grants Administrator/Senior GA to support pre-award proposals and post-award reporting. The role is per diem with on-site or flexible remote options, and involves collaboration with PIs, Grants Accounting, and the Clinical Trials Office to ensure compliant, timely grants management.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in grant writing and management, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a solid knowledge base of grant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 10 years' progressive grant writing and grant management experience in health-related fields.
• Experience managing staff.
• Excellent organizational, communication, writing and personnel management skills.
• Knowledge of grant information resources, databases, and methods of access.

Responsibilities

• Assist on a per diem basis with proposal submissions during surge periods.
• Work with PIs on pre-award proposals and progress reports.
• Coordinate with Grants Accounting, PI and Clinical Trials Office for compliance and reporting.
• Support announcements of special initiatives with short deadlines and one-time requirements.
• Help ensure timely submission and compliance across the project lifecycle.
