Job summary

Responsibilities include advising on academics, financial aid, and career planning; assisting with recruitment; and monitoring progress toward objectives. Occasional travel to Waco, Round Rock, Austin, and San Marcos is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or related field is required.
• Experience with academic support programs or Veteran services.
• Experience advising students on academics, financial aid, and career planning.
• Experience in program development, event planning, or trip coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with computer software and database management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program recruitment and intake.
• Conduct needs assessments and progress assessments for participants.
• Monitor participant program progress toward objectives.
• Assist with tutoring service delivery.
• Provide college admission and financial aid process information.
• Document services, tracking, and reporting.
• Assist with pre and post evaluations for participants.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to promote growth.
• Conduct other duties as assigned.
