Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two to three years of TRIO and/or migrant experience in student service and/or academic support programs.
• Knowledge of federal grant programs and their operations.
• Managerial skills in budget planning.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish with excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration for the grant’s process throughout all stages including recruiting, selecting, tracking, and documenting all activities; meets all grant’s goals and objectives; maintain fiscal accountability; compile information needed for required reports.
• Monitor and maintain control of expenditures and billing within the grant budget; track expenditures and reconcile college budget statements.
• Review and approve curriculum implementation for student sessions/activities; facilitate workshops, leadership retreat, and enrichment trips.
• Lead staff through hiring, supervision, and evaluation; organize staff meetings; provide coaching and mentoring.
• Represent TSTC/Grant Program in local, state, and national organizations; establish relationships with districts, agencies and employers.
