Be Well Institute on Substance Use and Related Disorders at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee grant-funded projects across Texas. The role blends clinical care, research, workforce development, and community partnerships to improve substance use care and mental health support.

You will manage workflows, create plans and timelines, coordinate training, data management and budgeting, track progress, prepare reports, and liaise with departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of directly related experience is required.
• Experience coordinating projects and managing timelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with data management and reporting to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees project workflow, scheduling, progress evaluation and status reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Creates project plans and timelines to ensure adherence to guidelines and protocols.
• Coordinates activities including training, data management, statistical analysis and budget preparation.
• Tracks progress and resolves obstacles.
• Oversees fiscal reporting, monitoring expenditures and preparing financial reports.
• Provides status updates on project progress to stakeholders.
• Prepares and delivers all project events and documentation.
• Acts as liaison between departments and stakeholders.
• Participates in design meetings and proposes improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
