The City of Amarillo's Community Development Department seeks a Grant Manager to oversee federal and state grant programs (CDBG, HOME, ESG, CoC, HMIS, CARE). You will lead a grants monitoring team, manage project development, and ensure timely reporting and compliance.

Under the Deputy Director, you will prepare funding proposals, monitor budgets, provide technical guidance, coordinate with city departments and agencies, and respond to public inquiries while advancing the department's

Competenze

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field is required.
A Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
A combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Mansioni

Oversee grant programs and grant monitoring team for CDBG, HOME, ESG, CARE, CoC, HMIS.
Manage reporting data across IDIS, HMIS, Neighborly, etc.
Provide technical assistance for project implementation and funding agreements.
Conduct regulatory research on federal/state grant requirements.
Prepare written and oral communications about grant programs.
Monitor compliance with federal labor standards for funded projects.
Prepare and review budgets and annual performance reports.
Coordinate with departments during Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan development.
