Job summary

City of Amarillo seeks a Grant Monitor to oversee federal and state grant-funded programs. You will interpret regulations, monitor compliance, and develop procedures under the Grant Manager and Deputy Community Development Director.

Responsibilities include working with CDBG, HOME, ESG, CoC, and HMIS programs, preparing reports, and coordinating with multiple departments. A Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with grant monitoring or federal/state programs preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and reports on federal/state grant programs (CDBG, HOME, ESG, CoC, HMIS).
• Maintains and verifies data in grant reporting systems.
• Provides technical assistance on project implementation and funding agreements.
• Keeps current with regulatory requirements for grant programs.
• Prepares and delivers reports to departments and management.
• Assists with budget development and annual performance reporting.
