Job summary

Bowie State University in Maryland is seeking a Program Manager – Teacher Education Preparation (Contingent II - Grant Funded) to lead administrative and operational aspects of the Title III FUTURE Act activity within the College of Education.

The role supports licensure readiness, coordinates professional learning, manages data tracking, and ensures grant compliance while collaborating with faculty, district partners, and external vendors to meet performance indicators and reporting

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field required.
• Doctoral degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in program management, grant administration, or higher education project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for Praxis II and edTPA examination vouchers.
• Track student progress toward licensure benchmarks and course redesigns.
• Coordinate Praxis II prep courses and edTPA workshops.
• Organize Action Research panels and support candidate presentation logistics.
• Coordinate professional development for faculty, mentor teachers, and field supervisors.
• Develop grant progress reports using performance data and maintain grant records.
