Job summary

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) seeks a motivated professional to supervise the Office of Grant Administration. You will oversee administration, compliance, and monitoring of capital grants and special projects, and ensure funds are used per grant agreements and regulations.

You will develop policy, perform quality assurance, and provide working supervision to staff, driving program integrity and accountable grant delivery across the state.

Qualifications

• Requires four years of college, preferably in business or public administration.
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in public or business organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Program Grant Management Unit.
• Develop and implement grant management policy, procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance and quality assurance for grant awards and special projects.
• Provide supervision and oversee fiscal compliance of grants.
