Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity seeks a Program Grant Administration Manager to oversee grant administration, compliance, and monitoring of state and federal capital grants. This supervisory role develops grant management policies, ensures funds are used according to agreements and regulations, and maintains program integrity across economic development initiatives.

The position is based in Springfield within the Office of Grant Administration, reporting to leadership

Qualifications

Four years of college coursework, preferably in business or public administration.
Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
Three years of professional experience executing, administering, and monitoring grants.
Three years of professional experience with performance and program reporting, including quality control and assurance.
Three years of experience reviewing and applying federal and state laws, rules, and regulations affecting grant administration.

Responsibilities

Oversee grant administration, compliance, and monitoring of state and federal capital grants.
Develop grant management policies and ensure funds are used per agreements and regulations.
Maintain program integrity across economic development initiatives.
Supervise within the Office of Grant Administration in Springfield.
