About the Role Our client, a reputable non-profit organization focused on improving educational outcomes for disadvantaged youth, is seeking a dedicated Grant Management Specialist. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient administration and successful reporting of all grants received by the organization. Based in Welkom, Free State , you will be responsible for managing the entire grant lifecycle, from application support to financial oversight and final reporting. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong financial acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of grant compliance. You will work closely with program staff and finance teams to ensure all grant requirements are met, maximizing the impact of our client's educational initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of all grant funding, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and internal policies.
• Assist program managers in developing grant proposals and budgets, providing input on feasibility and compliance.
• Monitor grant expenditures and prepare accurate financial reports for internal management and external funders.
• Track grant deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely submission of all required reports.
• Maintain comprehensive grant records, including agreements, budgets, and correspondence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for grantors regarding reporting and compliance matters.
• Conduct internal reviews to assess program compliance with grant conditions.
• Identify potential risks and challenges related to grant management and develop mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with the finance department to ensure accurate financial tracking and reconciliation of grant funds.

Requirements
