Placements24 seeks a dynamic Fundraising Manager for its Welkom office to lead the development and execution of comprehensive fundraising strategies, securing resources to sustain essential programs.

You will manage donor relations, grants, events, and digital campaigns, while mentoring staff and reporting to senior management. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in nonprofit fundraising are expected; CFRE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in nonprofit fundraising.
• Proven success in achieving ambitious fundraising targets.
• Strong knowledge of major gifts, grants, events, and online giving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with proposal/report writing abilities.
• Experience cultivating and managing donor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grant writing and reporting processes with timely submissions.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; CFRE certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Welkom or Free State philanthropic landscape is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with necessary in-person interactions in Welkom.
