Job summary

Baystate Health, Springfield, MA, is seeking an experienced Social Worker of Research and Training Programs to advance evidence-based behavioral health interventions through training, research, and community collaboration. This grant-funded role supports clinicians and organizations, bridging research and real-world practice.

You will train and coach clinicians, develop resources, and translate research into practical strategies while coordinating grant initiatives and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• 3+ years as a practicing social worker in health or social services; internship may count.
• Active license: LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC; strong training and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate and empower clinicians through training, coaching, and consultation in research and professional programs.
• Advance evidence-based practice by supporting implementation, quality, and sustainability of interventions.
• Develop educational resources: curricula, materials, toolkits, and other learning aids.
• Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, researchers, and stakeholders.
• Expand program participation through outreach and engagement of clinicians and organizations.
• Provide technical assistance to navigate implementation challenges and improve program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on research planning, activities, and dissemination.
