Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in K-12 PBIS/MTSS coordination.
• PBIS coaching certification preferred.
• Experience with MTSS and tiered supports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with school leadership to plan, implement, and sustain Tier 1 PBIS systems.
• Analyzes discipline and behavior data to evaluate PBIS effectiveness and guide training.
• Coordinates school-wide PBIS kick-offs, booster events, and celebrations.
• Coaches staff in implementing Tier 2 interventions (Check-In/Check-Out, small-group social-skills).
• Works with PBIS teams to identify students who may benefit from Tier 2 supports and monitor progress.
• Maintains data systems to track PBIS implementation and outcomes division-wide.
• Delivers professional development for administrators, teachers, and staff on PBIS and MTSS practices.
• Collaborates with Office of Special Education to align PBIS with MTSS and school improvement plans.
• Develops family communication plans about PBIS expectations and supports.
• Supports IEP and Section 504 teams in aligning PBIS with individual needs.
