Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay Inc. seeks an Accounting Manager to ensure accurate grant and donor fund financial management, reporting, and compliance. You will supervise the Accounts Payable Manager and Operations Specialist, coordinate with program leadership, and support audits.

This role bridges Finance, Development, Grants, and Programs in a mission-driven nonprofit. Hybrid work arrangement with a regular in-office presence at our Clearwater Regional Office, offering a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five years progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and nonprofit accounting exposure.
• Experience with grant/contract financial management and restricted funds.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor restricted fund tracking and reconciliation.
• Support month-end and year-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare internal financial reports and grant reimbursements.
• Assist with audits and funder compliance reviews.
• Provide guidance to Finance, Grants, and Program teams.
