Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Finance department under the Controller. The role performs accounting and grant billing duties following GAAP, maintains records, prepares reconciliations, and assists with month-end close and reporting for grants and funding sources.

This exempt, full-time position requires accuracy, adherence to policies, and collaboration with program staff to ensure timely billing, reporting, and compliance

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, grant billing, or related finance experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and other computer applications.

Responsabilités

• Record journal entries, deposits, invoices, payments, and other accounting transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Prepare grant billings, monitor grant expenditures, and support financial reporting for audits and renewals.
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate data and timely billing.
