Job summary

For Our Future Michigan seeks motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Canvass Managers for a paid canvassing program in Grand Rapids. You will be responsible for executing the regional field plan and supervision of paid canvasser operations within your assigned region in accordance with strict health and safety protocols.

Candidates should have familiarity with their assigned region, experience working with door-to-door field programs, comfortable working long hours, and access to reliable

Qualifications

• Paid field campaign or door-to-door canvassing experience (1–2 cycles).
• Commitment to building progressive movement power.
• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN/LAN preferred.
• Able to use basic computer skills; Excel knowledge a plus.
• Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to work long, irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong coaching abilities and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
• Bilingual experience is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Train canvassers, launch events, and supervise teams per health guidelines.
• Door-to-door outreach for local and statewide candidates.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, monthly goals.
• Ensure accurate reporting and timely regional data entry.
• Maintain health and safety protocols.
• Recruit, schedule, and confirm canvassers.
• Assist with delivering training programs.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
