Job summary

For Our Future Michigan seeks motivated, outgoing Canvass Managers for a paid canvassing program in Grand Rapids. You will be responsible for executing the regional field plan and supervision of paid canvasser operations within your assigned region in accordance with strict health and safety protocols.

Candidates should have familiarity with their assigned region, experience working with door-to-door field programs, comfortable working long hours, and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in paid field campaigns or door-to-door canvassing.
• Commitment to progressive movement and community organizing.
• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN/LAN preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong coaching and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Train canvassers, launch canvass events, and supervise a team per health guidelines.
• Engage in voter outreach including regular door-to-door canvassing.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Ensure timely reporting and accurate regional data entry.
• Maintain health and safety protocols and procedures.
• Recruit, schedule, and confirm canvassers; assist with training programs.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
