Job summary

Grand Canyon National Park Lodges is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead all aspects of the Maswik kitchen operations. You will manage daily prep, production, ordering, inventory and staff across multiple dining venues while ensuring food quality and presentation.

You will work closely with the Director of Culinary Services to develop menus, coordinate events, and uphold food safety standards. This full-time, year-round role includes housing options and a dynamic, fast-paced

Qualifications

• Three years supervisory or lead cook experience in a high-volume dining operation.
• Experience in menu development and operational planning.
• Ability to train kitchen staff across multiple stations.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations for multiple dining venues with focus on quality and presentation.
• Manage ordering, storage, rotation and inventory to minimize waste and cost.
• Collaborate with Culinary Services leadership on menus, specials and banquet events.
• Maintain up-to-date recipes and guides in the kitchen management system.
• Supervise and schedule unit kitchen and mobile food service staff.
• Support and step into Unit Manager duties as needed.
