Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection is hiring Cooks to Live. Work. Explore. at the Grand Canyon South Rim, joining the Food & Beverage team. Cooks will work across all kitchen stations, with batch production and high-volume prep, depending on venue.

Position is full-time year-round with a pay range of $17.45–$19.75 per hour; typical schedule is 40 hours per week, may include weekends, evenings and holidays. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k, and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year cooking in high-volume settings, including prep and dish tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of kitchen stations and equipment.
• Able to follow recipes and plating directions precisely.
• ServeSafe HACCP food sanitation training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, food safety, timeliness of dishes.
• Maintain consistency in techniques and mise en place.
• Prepare items using knives, ovens, grills, fryers and steamers.
