Job summary

FS Grain, LLC in Buda, IL is seeking a Seasonal Grain Scale Operator to manage inbound/outbound tickets, weights, and grade data at the scale, and to support office staff with reporting and filing.

You will handle invoicing for load-out tickets, communicate with settlement and operations teams, and provide friendly customer service. Basic computer skills required; valid driver’s license and ability to travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Proven computer skills and experience working with customers.
• Knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale for inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades, and proper account selection.
• Create and process invoices for customer/cash load out tickets.
• Coordinate with settlement, origination and operations staff to relay score and ticket info.
• Provide courteous customer service and assist with filing and reporting as needed.
• Learn and use the Scale System to generate reports and manage tickets from start to finish.
• Maintain tidy scale operation area and assist with related duties when time allows.
