Job summary

FS GRAIN is seeking a Scale Operator to manage inbound/outbound traffic at the scale, ensure accurate tickets, and support the elevator operations. The role involves handling weights/grades, directing hauler accounts, and coordinating with settlement and CSR staff to maintain accurate records.

• Proven computer skills with demonstrated experience working effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a positive work environment with respectful interactions that promote leadership and teamwork.
• Operate all aspects of the scale including inbound/outbound/transfer, weights and grades, and hauler account selection.
• Process customer/cash load out tickets including invoicing and communicate with settlement and operations staff.
• Provide basic customer service and handle phone inquiries when needed; relay elevator hours and ticket information.
• Learn and fully utilize the Scale System to generate reports and manage tickets end-to-end.
