Job summary

ADM is seeking a Superintendent to manage grain elevator daily operations, including loading, sampling, grading, blending and storage. You will train hourly staff, enforce safety and food safety standards, and drive maintenance and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
High School Diploma/GED with on-the-job training.
Technical Certification.
2-3 years’ experience leading a team.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to train others.
Report writing and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety by following OSHA and plant safety processes.
Lead daily grain elevator operations, including loading/unloading, sampling, grading, blending and storage.
Develop and train hourly employees on safety, food safety, and operations.
Improve maintenance, sanitation and operation schedules.
Lead preventive maintenance and cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain documentation and cost-saving ideas.
Foster good communications and morale among the team.
Provide troubleshooting to maintain production systems and facilities.
